Vampyr Skald and the Black Knight ov Bone Gully

In the faraway land, there is a place that lies beyond the stream that runs by the graveyard, near the abandoned mine at the foot ov mount Neibelungen. It is called Bone Gully. There, skeletons dance in the moonlight ov the gibbous moon to the frightful playing ov a creature called Vampyr Skald. Vampyr Skald sings a song ov death, using the whoosh ov his axe through the air and the harmonic ring ov his shield ov souls to create a symphonic masterpiece out ov nowhere. He dances his dance ov death each time the gibbous moon appears – his minion, the Black Knight ov Bone Gully, is made from the bones ov a murderous criminal joined with those ov a war horse, giving him superior strength and speed. On each ov these nights, the Black Knight ov Bone Gully goes forth and finds farmers and horsetenders that have beaten or whipped the horses. These poor sods are knocked from their feet, their bones are crushed, and they are stabbed many times – but not fatally. The Black Night ov Bone Gully then brings them forth to his master, who drinks them dry ov their life’s blood – and binds their soul as part ov his infernal chorus ov tortured souls that are trapped in his shield.
And the skeletons dance in the night, under a gibbous moon. These souls will never harm another animal again…

Leviathan’s Minions

When fishermen sail the seven seas, they are wise to make offering to great Leviathan – the great Mother ov the Deep. For if they do not – or if they falter in their respect for the ocean and its creatures – a great storm will arise. Day will turn to darkest night. Night will turn to inky blackness. The ship will be thrown from wave to wave as if the very sea was playing with the ship like a cat with a mouse just before it is devoured. The ship will take on water. Sails will be torn from the mast, even if wrapped. Then the ship will come to the eye ov the storm. A flash ov lightning will reveal – dead calm in the water. The next flash will reveal - 1,000 mermaid valkyries riding 1,000 gigantic wolves ov the sea. The next flash will surely drive any man mad, as the only thing that is seen is an eye as large as the entire ship come up from the depths – a whale bigger than any ever recorded. And this is great Leviathan. She who swallows ships – and lets those who offend her rot in her gullet until the very flesh slips from their bones – they who are cursed forever and cannot die, and they are guarded by the most ancient creature who has ever slipped down the throat ov Leviathan – the Night Hag Rheada.
